La notizia non è ufficiale ma alcune immagini divulgate da GSMArena, mostrano un dispositivo con una cornice dorata. Dall'immagine vediamo la cornice e la ghiera attorno alla fotocamera in metallo placcata Oro 24 carati. Una nota esteticamente stonata e alquanto strana è il profilo attorno al tasto home, rimasto color argento.
Non ci sono informazioni riguardo al costo dell'oggetto, ma si presume che se la versione Note Edge costa di listino 869€ per la versione ORO la cifra lieviterà oltre i 1.000€.
Le caratteristiche tecniche del prodotto non dovrebbero invece subire modifiche e quindi dovremmo trovare un display da 5,6 pollici Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixel curvo da un lato, processore Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad Core da 2,7 Ghz, 3 GB di memoria RAM, GPU Adreno 420, fotocamera da 16 megapixel con LED Flash e stabilizzatore ottico in grado di registrare video in qualità Ultra HD ed ovviamente S-Pen che caratterizza tutta la serie Note di Samsung.
